Recruitment Fraud Alert

We have been alerted to an increase in fraudulent recruitment activities where individuals are falsely claiming to represent Prodigy. These scammers are using fake job postings, social media accounts, and messaging platforms to contact job seekers and request personal or financial information.

Please know that these communications are not from Prodigy. Your safety and trust are extremely important to us, and we want to help you identify and avoid these scams.

How to Identify a Legitimate Prodigy Opportunity

Common Signs of a Scam

If you encounter any of the following, the message is not from Prodigy:

  • You’re offered a “work from home” job immediately without an interview
  • You’re asked to purchase equipment or pay registration or training fees
  • The email address looks suspicious (for example, Gmail, Yahoo, or misspelled company domains)
  • The communication contains grammatical errors or unrealistic salary promises

What to Do if You’ve Been Contacted

If you believe you’ve been targeted by a fraudulent offer:

  1. Do not send money or share personal information (banking, SIN/SSN, ID).
  2. Take screenshots of all communication.
  3. Report it immediately to Prodigy via info@prodigypersonnel.com
  4. Report the scam to the platform where it appeared (e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn, Indeed).
  5. If personal information was shared, consider reporting the incident to your local authorities or identity theft center.

Our Commitment

At Prodigy, we are committed to maintaining transparency, professionalism, and the safety of all job seekers. We’re working closely with social media platforms to identify and remove fraudulent accounts misusing our name.
We encourage everyone to stay alert and verify any suspicious communication before responding. Thank you for helping us protect our community.
